Founder, Coneybeare Cleantech
Victoria combined her love of renewable energy and green building strategies with more than 25 years of experience in recruiting to form Coneybeare Cleantech, a recruiting and consulting firm that connects people who want to work together to create a more sustainable world. Through events such as the Coneybeare Cleantech Leaders Conference, more intimate gatherings called “The Conversation” and the recruitment of talented people to help clients’ companies grow their business, Victoria is using her extensive experience in recruiting to connect those interested in green technology and sustainability.
In addition to Coneybeare Cleantech, Victoria has created a unique sustainability demonstration facility in Colombia, South America, that hosts workshops on permaculture as well as sustainable architecture. Once a slash and burn plantain farm, La Luisa was restored to its natural habitat and Victoria created an eco-resort and organic farm using permaculture principals.
Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University. She lived in Colombia, South America, for eight years before taking over Coneybeare, a California-based staffing firm, in 1990.
Throughout her business career, Victoria has been honored with awards including:
• “Small Business of the Year” Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, 1993
• “Business Woman of the Year” Athena Award, 1994
